Knock-Out Gnats™
This strain of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt/H-14) provides very effective fungus gnat control for houseplant growers and home greenhouses. Populations of fungus gnats (often called "fruit flies") usually peak during winter and spring. The tiny adult insects lay their eggs in peat moss, humus-rich organic soil and potting mediums. The larvae then feed on plant roots including those of young seedlings. Infested plants wilt, roots rot and the plants may eventually die.
With Knock-Out Gnats, however, the larvae ingest the larvicide and die! Use as a soil drench, 2-8 teaspoons per gallon of water. Make 3 weekly applications to control successive generations of larvae. You can monitor effectiveness of Knock-Out Gnats with sticky traps.

Codling Moth Trap
Codling moths are among the worst enemies of apples, peaches, pears, crabapples and English walnuts. The larvae bore into the center of the fruit to feed on the seeds. Damage can be extensive, often involving all fruit on the tree, and control is complicated because the pest produces two generations each year.
Our traps produce excellent results. A unique technology releases the pheromone scent continuously, in tiny amounts, for up to eight weeks. For best results, set out traps two weeks before bud break. Use two traps per mature full-size tree, one for dwarf tree. Replace lure after eight weeks. If crop damage has already begun, traps may reduce the second generation but additional control methods will be needed.

Japanese Beetle Trap
Powerful trap attracts adult beetles like magnets. When squadrons of adult Japanese beetles attack, be ready with our highly effective pheromone trap. This trap catches and confines more beetles than any other trap we've tested--in fact, it's the same trap we use at our research farm.
